This microsite was designed for participants in Small Business Week 2013, sponsored by Crain's Chicago Business. This site was intended to be a one-stop shop for event participants.
Customer engagement via ratings
Site colors were chosen based on the colors used throughout the event so that site visitors would know they had come to the right place. Users were given many tools to participate including an Event Finder. The Event Finder was also equipped with a directions mechanism, so they were able to enter their starting destination. The end destination was pre-populated.
