Developers Notes
Initially, this site was built in HTML5. However, after many meetings with the organizations director, it was discovered that PHP/MYSQL would be necessary, as the organization continues to grow and additional areas (i.e. navigation) are needed. We transitioned this site by adding an administrative database to the backend to allow a user to edit their own content and approve/deny changes when they are made. Also all areas that are subject to change are now built in PHP and managed on the backend rather than the front.
